KiwiRail P2P

Metric Surveying Assisted KiwiRail with the expansion of its geodetic survey spigot control network across the P2P project (Papakura to Pukekohe).

This consisted of 18km of high accuracy survey control observations and network adjustment to approximately 450 survey control marks.

The purpose was to provide a reliable, repeatable and consistent survey control framework for all surveyors working within the rail corridor to reference. The end results is a framework of published survey control references that ensure consistent and accurate deliverables to KiwiRail.
