Limited Access Structural Scanning

Metric Surveying were engaged to assist with a particularly challenging project.

High accuracy point cloud data was required to assist with the fabrication of replacement structural steel for a large structure. The challenge: We were not permitted to access the structure.

This project required significant planning and preparation along side our client where an alternate methodology was executed. The end result was a high resolution, high accuracy point cloud without physically accessing the structure.
